Queye as Default

Set Queye as your default search engine on Safari

Unfortunately, there is no way to set Queye as your default search engine on Safari. Sorry!

What you can do, though, is set Queye as your startpage and, if you want to use the Safari search bar, start every query with "queye".

On your Menu Bar, click Safari > Settings (or just press Command + , on your keyboard).
Go to "General" (at the top of the window that pops up).
In "Homepage" enter "https://queye.co".
Make sure "New windows open with:" and "New tabs open with:" are both set to "Homepage".
That's it. Welcome to Queye!

Click the three dots next to your search bar (Chrome's search bar, not Queye's).
Go to "Search engines" > "Manage search engines and site search".
At the bottom, you'll see "Inactive shortcuts" and underneath Queye should automatically be there.
Click "Activate" to move it to "Site search".
Click the three dots next to Queye.

Click at the top where it says "https://queye.co/default" (your search bar).
At the bottom of the pop-up (next to "This time, search with"), the Queye logo or a generic search icon should appear with a green plus in the corner. Click it.
In the top-right corner of your window, click the hamburger icon > "Settings".
Click "Search".
Under "Default Search Engine", you will see "Google" or "Bing" or another search engine. Click on that and select "Queye".
That's it. Welcome to Queye!

Unfortunately, there is no way to set Queye as your default search engine on Opera. Thank you for your interest.

What you can do, though, is start every query with "queye" in Opera serarch bar.

Open a new tab.
1. Enter "edge://settings/searchEngines" in the address bar.
or:
1. In the top right corner of your window, next to your user profile, click the three dots.
2. Click "Settings" > "Privacy, Search and Services" and scroll all the way down to the last option: "Adress bar and search".
3. "Manage search engines".
Find "Queye".
Click the three dots next to "https://queye.co/?s=%s".
Click "Make default".
That's it. Welcome to Queye!

In your Menu Bar, click "Arc" > "Settings".
At the top of the window that pops up, click "General".
Click "Search Settings..."
Next to "Site search" press "Add".
Fill in as follows:

Search Engine: "Queye"
Shortcut: Anything you wany, preferably "q", "queye" or "queye.co".
URL with %s in place of query: (and this is very important) "https://queye.co/?s=%s"
After you click "Add", scroll down the page and find Queye (you may need to click "Additional sites").
Once you find it, click the three dots, "Make default". There may be more than one, so make sure it's the right one.
